The 2LP Vinyl version of the Flood’s 2019 offering, ‘Blood Red Ties’ is concerned with family, roots, country and ALL the ties that bind. It speaks to, and is informed by, the Australian landscape and the people of this wide, brown land.
Band tracks were recorded with Steve Newton at Enrec Studios Tamworth, and finished by Glen Hannah at StudioGoonga, with mixing by Ted Howard and mastering by Jeff McCormack.
The amazing cover is a painting by our great friend Bas Edwards.
Other than band members KB, Glen Hannah, Gary Carruthers, Wayne ‘Killer’ Kellett and Mik McCartin, we have Lyn Bowtell, Felicity Urquhart and Camille Te Nahu on vocals and special guests ‘The Dingoes’ on a track.
